2. Booking Policy

All bookings are subject to availability and official confirmation from TravelMittra.

  • A booking becomes confirmed only after the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.
  • Certain destinations may require government permits or approvals, which can affect booking confirmation.
  • Hotels, transportation, trekking permits, guides, and sightseeing services are confirmed only after successful processing.
  • TravelMittra reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking due to operational, legal, or safety reasons.

3. Eligibility

To make a booking with TravelMittra, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Provide complete and accurate personal information.
  • Carry valid government-issued identification during travel.
  • Meet any medical, fitness, or permit requirements applicable to your chosen destination or activity.
Health Advisory

High-altitude destinations such as Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, and Himalayan trekking routes require good physical fitness. Guests with medical conditions should consult their doctor before travelling.

4. Pricing Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on the TravelMittra website are in Indian Rupees (INR).

Package prices may vary depending on:

  • Travel season.
  • Selected travel dates.
  • Hotel category.
  • Transportation option.
  • Group size.
  • Government taxes.
  • Permit charges.
  • Customized itinerary requests.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice until your booking has been officially confirmed.

Pricing Disclaimer

TravelMittra reserves the right to revise package prices in the event of changes to government taxes, fuel prices, hotel tariffs, transportation costs, permit fees, or any operational expenses beyond our reasonable control.

5. Payment Terms

To confirm a booking, travellers may be required to pay an advance booking amount. The remaining balance must be paid before the tour commencement date or as otherwise communicated by TravelMittra.

  • Booking confirmation is subject to successful receipt of payment.
  • Payments may be accepted through Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, or other approved payment methods.
  • Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, or transaction charges shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise specified.
  • Failure to complete payment before the specified deadline may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
Payment Security

TravelMittra never stores your debit card, credit card, CVV, internet banking password, or UPI PIN. All online payments are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways.

6. Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only after all of the following conditions have been fulfilled:

  • Required booking details have been submitted.
  • Applicable advance payment has been received.
  • Hotels, transportation, permits, guides, and other travel services have been confirmed.
  • An official confirmation has been issued by TravelMittra via Email, WhatsApp, SMS, or another approved communication channel.

Until written confirmation has been issued, TravelMittra cannot guarantee the availability of any requested service.

7. Travel Documents

Travellers are solely responsible for carrying all necessary travel documents required during the journey.

  • Valid Government-issued Photo ID.
  • Entry permits wherever applicable.
  • Medical certificates, if required.
  • Passport and Visa for international travellers.
  • Any additional documents requested by local authorities.

TravelMittra shall not be responsible for denied boarding, delayed travel, penalties, or cancellations arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.

8. Accuracy of Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and up-to-date information during the booking process.

  • Full legal name.
  • Mobile number.
  • Email address.
  • Pickup location.
  • Number of travellers.
  • Preferred travel dates.
  • Any special requests or medical conditions.

TravelMittra shall not be liable for any losses, additional expenses, or travel disruptions caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

9. Modification of Bookings

Requests for modifications to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and operational feasibility.

  • Date changes may attract additional charges.
  • Hotel upgrades or downgrades are subject to availability.
  • Transportation changes may alter the package price.
  • Destination or itinerary changes may require a revised quotation.

We recommend requesting any booking modifications well in advance. Last-minute changes may not be possible due to hotel policies, permit availability, transportation schedules, or operational limitations.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Every traveller is expected to behave responsibly throughout the journey and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and instructions provided by TravelMittra, tour guides, drivers, hotel staff, and local authorities.

  • Provide accurate personal and travel information.
  • Carry valid identification and required travel documents.
  • Respect local culture, customs, traditions, and religious places.
  • Follow all safety instructions during sightseeing, trekking, camping, rafting, paragliding, and other adventure activities.
  • Take responsibility for your personal belongings throughout the trip.
  • Avoid any behaviour that disturbs or endangers fellow travellers.
Code of Conduct

TravelMittra reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour without refund if their behaviour is abusive, illegal, unsafe, violent, or disruptive to other guests or staff.

11. Health & Fitness Requirements

Certain destinations such as Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, high-altitude Himalayan treks, and adventure activities require good physical fitness and may not be suitable for everyone.

  • Consult your doctor before travelling if you have any medical condition.
  • Carry sufficient medicines for the entire journey.
  • Inform TravelMittra in advance about allergies, disabilities, or medical concerns.
  • Follow the instructions of guides regarding altitude sickness, weather conditions, and safety procedures.

TravelMittra shall not be responsible for medical complications arising from undisclosed health conditions or failure to follow safety guidelines.

12. Itinerary Changes

TravelMittra reserves the right to modify tour itineraries whenever necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of travellers.

Changes may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions.
  • Road closures.
  • Landslides.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Permit limitations.
  • Operational requirements.
  • Safety considerations.

Wherever reasonably possible, suitable alternatives will be arranged without compromising the overall travel experience.

13. Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel their booking by notifying TravelMittra through email or WhatsApp.

Cancellation charges depend on:

  • Cancellation date.
  • Hotel cancellation policies.
  • Transport bookings.
  • Government permit charges.
  • Third-party supplier policies.

14. Cancellation by TravelMittra

TravelMittra reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour under exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Heavy rainfall or snowfall.
  • Landslides.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Political unrest.
  • Safety concerns.
  • Insufficient group size.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

In such situations, customers may be offered an alternative travel date, another package, travel credit, or an eligible refund depending on the circumstances.

15. Refund Policy

Eligible refunds shall be processed in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

  • Refund processing normally takes 7–15 business days.
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment method.
  • Payment gateway and convenience charges may be non-refundable.
  • Government permit fees and third-party supplier charges may not be refundable.
  • Hotel and transport providers may apply their own cancellation and refund rules.

TravelMittra will make every reasonable effort to process eligible refunds as quickly as possible after receiving approval from the concerned service providers.

16. Limitation of Liability

TravelMittra acts as a travel planner and coordinator for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, trekking, guides, adventure activities, and other travel-related services.

While we strive to provide safe, reliable, and memorable travel experiences, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

  • Flight or train delays and cancellations.
  • Road closures or traffic disruptions.
  • Weather-related interruptions.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Landslides or floods.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

17. Force Majeure

TravelMittra shall not be responsible for any delay, modification, interruption, or cancellation of services resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.

Such events include, but are not limited to:

  • Earthquakes.
  • Floods.
  • Heavy rainfall or snowfall.
  • Landslides.
  • Pandemics or epidemics.
  • Government restrictions.

In these circumstances, itineraries may be modified, postponed, or cancelled in the interest of passenger safety.

18. Intellectual Property

All content published on the TravelMittra website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, icons, layouts, branding, and other materials, is the intellectual property of TravelMittra unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

19. Website Usage

Users agree not to misuse this website. Prohibited activities include:
